We haven’t had a picture recipe for awhile, so I put one together. I shot this on my iPhone 7 immediately after rowing 5K and I crushed the pizza in about 3 minutes.
The receipe is high in protein, so pairing it with a salad and some frozen grapes for dessert will help you find a nice Zone balance.
Here’s how it went:
I preheated the oven 400 degrees. Then, I lined the counter with plastic wrap, two chicken breasts and another layer of plastic wrap.
I pounded them out into as close to a circle shape as possible. The shape does not effect the flavor, but will help with pizza recognition.
I seasoned the top side with Paleo Grind Ga Ga Garlic.
I drizzled olive oil on a sheet pan, used the plastic to flip the chicken crust, seasoned side down onto the pan and then seasoned the top side with another hit of Ga Ga Garlic.
I placed the crusts in the oven at 400 degrees for 7 minutes.
When the crust was cooked through (7 minutes), I topped it with tomato puree straight out of the can.
I chopped up one and a half chipotle peppers and dispersed them among the two crusts.
I topped that with julienned onions and four slices of chopped bacon and returned the pizza to the oven for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes, I pulled the pizza out and it looked like this. Some nice caramelization on the pan and a bit underneath the crust as well.
I topped mine with 1/4 avocado, a drizzle of Massie Mayo and some cilantro.
I transferred it to a plate, snapped a picture and dug in!
But not before Jessie could dig in…
This one is super simple and super tasty. It will fill you up nicely and help you keep pizza night alive.
